The Senior Center is located at the Grand Avenue Community Center at 4211 Grand Avenue, Western Springs, IL 60558. The center is available for activities Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Mission of the Western Springs Senior Center is to develop a CULTURAL, EDUCATIONAL and SUPPORTIVE environment for ALL senior residents (and non-residents) of Western Springs. The environment is designed to enhance the quality of life by promoting wellness and socialization, providing the opportunity to learn new skills and helping seniors to remain involved and contributing citizens of their community. Further, the Center is a safe, nurturing, happy place for seniors to grow in friendship and in knowledge and be accepted without reservation.
The Western Springs Seniors Club offers a variety of social and educational activities separate from the Senior Center. The club meets on the second Monday of each month at 1 p.m. at the Recreation Center located at 1500 Walker, Western Springs, IL 60558.

Police Department staff will make a daily telephone call to a resident living alone at the request of the individual, their friends, and / or family. To sign up for this service, please fill out the online form or visit the Police Department.
A taxi coupon program is available to Western Springs residents aged 65 or older and residents with disabilities who are members of the Western Springs Senior Center ($30).
