Please refer to the list below on available access to Johnson. Additional updates will be sent out as access changes. Please remember that all dates are weather dependent.
The sewer contractor has completed all work at the intersection. The entire intersection is scheduled for removal and replacement on Monday, December 3, 2018, weather permitting. The intersections will be replaced with high early concrete, which will allow it to be re-opened 3-5 days after it is poured. During the reconstruction and cure time of the intersection, please avoid the 45th Street intersection. Residents residing north of the intersection will have access from Wolf Rd. Residents south of the intersection will have access from 46th Street.
Currently, access from Burlington is restricted by two sections of curing concrete. These areas will be fully cured and re-opened on Monday, December 3, 2018.
The west portion of the intersection was poured today. The east side of the intersection remains open. The entire intersection is tentatively scheduled to be re-opened for public use on Monday, December 3, 2018.
Both lanes of traffic are open for public use at 47th Street.
The contractor will be on-site next week to re-grade the parkways. The re-grading process will allow the contractor to fill in all of the gaps near driveway aprons, sidewalks, and the curbline. The parkway will remain as such until the spring, when it can be refreshed with fresh topsoil and new sod.
