***Effective October 2016, the Village instituted a NON-REFUNDABLE 1% convenience fee for all credit card transactions. The fee will not show up on your Recreation receipt but will appear as a separate charge on your credit card statement.

The Recreation Department offers activities and classes for all age groups. Residents and nonresidents are encouraged to become active in all programs. The seasonal program brochure is mailed out to all residents in March, August, and November. You may register online or print a program application and register in person, through the mail or by fax (708-246-1309). Gym schedules online are updated every Tuesday and are subject to change daily; please call the Recreation Department for the most current open gym times. Registration forms and other program information is available through the links on the left.

Programs for the disabled are made available through a joint agreement with South East Association for Special Parks and Recreation (SEASPAR).

The department's largest annual (Saturday of Memorial Day weekend) event is the 5K-10K Tower Trot, which attracts more than 1,200 runners annually and is seen as one of the premier events of its kind in the Chicago area.
