The Senior Center is located at the Grand Avenue Community Center at 4211 Grand Avenue, Western Springs, IL 60558. The center is available for activities Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Mission of the Western Springs Senior Center is to develop a CULTURAL, EDUCATIONAL and SUPPORTIVE environment for ALL senior residents (and non-residents) of Western Springs. The environment is designed to enhance the quality of life by promoting wellness and socialization, providing the opportunity to learn new skills and helping seniors to remain involved and contributing citizens of their community. Further, the Center is a safe, nurturing, happy place for seniors to grow in friendship and in knowledge and be accepted without reservation.
The Western Springs Seniors Club is separate from the Senior Center, and offers a variety of social and educational activities, as well as interesting bus trips. The club meets on the second Monday of each month, September - May, at 1:00 p.m. at the Recreation Center located at 1500 Walker, Western Springs, IL 60558.

Police Department staff will make a daily telephone call to a resident living alone at the request of the individual, their friends, and / or family. To sign up for this service, please fill out the online form or visit the Police Department.
Interfaith Community Partners
The loss of a driver's license, reduced mobility, or a medical setback are just some of the things that can turn an older adult's life upside down. Interfaith Community Partners provide volunteer-accompanied transportation to medical appointments, therapies, and life-enhancing errands such as the grocery store, bank, hairdresser and church.
