Introduction to Lacrosse-Girls Fall 2019
Ready to start lacrosse? Join IGLA this spring for a weekly one hour clinic for the younger lacrosse player. These clinics are exclusively for girls in Kindergarten through 1st grade that want to learn the FUNdamentals of lacrosse. The goals of this program are to introduce and develop basic skills for our youngest players using fun games and coaching techniques.
Registration is open to all including Hinsdale, Lagrange, Lagrange Park, Countryside, Riverside, Brookfield, North Riverside, Clarendon Hills, Burr Ridge, Oak Brook, Pleasantdale, Willowbrook, Downer Grove and all surrounding areas.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: Kind-2nd grade will use a soft ball. Bring your own stick or we have sticks available. All other equipment is optional.
Session runs Mondays Only Nov 6 – December 18 (no Nov 27) - 6-7pm @ Grand Ave Gym, Western Springs, Il.
Sticks available and soft balls provided. No goggles or mouth guard required.

2. Registration form can be returned in person or mailed to the Western Springs Recreation Department, 1500 Walker Street, Western Springs, IL. 60558 or faxed to 708-246-1309. Checks should be made payable to Western Springs Recreation Department.
3. Fill out the Player Information Form at the IGLA website
Parents are encouraged to attend to learn along with their daughter and assist coaches with drills. Soft balls are used so mouth guard/goggles are not required. Players will need a stick. Please email information if you would like to borrow one.
Volunteers: If you have an interest in being a ‘Parent Volunteer Coach,’ click on the volunteer tab at Illinois Girls Lacrosse Association (IGLA) website. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! Training classes available.
Please Note: The participant must bring the Recreation Department paid receipt to the first day of the league as proof of payment.
