Girls Beginner Programs

Ready to start lacrosse?  The goals of these programs are to introduce and develop basic skills for our youngest players using fun games and coaching techniques.

Registration is open to all including Hinsdale, Lagrange, Lagrange Park, Countryside, Riverside, Brookfield, North Riverside, Clarendon Hills, Burr Ridge, Oak Brook, Pleasantdale, Willowbrook, Downer Grove and all surrounding areas.

Equipment: Sticks available or bring your own. No goggles or mouth guard required (soft ball is used).

Winter Lacrosse Skills Camp
Kindergarten-8th grade girls (beginners & experienced) 

Winter lacrosse is a perfect way to keep your skills intact between Fall and Spring, or to try the sport for the first time. Winter Camps & Clinics are designed for K – 8th graders of all experience levels.

Spring Introduction to Lacrosse (Girls and Boys)

Kindergarten-8th grade (beginners and experienced)

Introduction to Lacrosse is for girls & boys in grades K-8. This is a great way to learn the fundamentals of lacrosse or keep your skills up with instruction on learning how to catch, throw and pass and improving skills you already know. The goal of the program is to introduce and develop basic skills using fun games and coaching techniques. Scrimmages will be played to increase knowledge of lacrosse skills being learned. 

Day/Dates:      Sundays, April 5 - May 17 (No class 4/12)

Ready to start lacrosse? Join IGLA this spring for weekly one hour sessions for the younger lacrosse player. This program is exclusively for children in PreK - Kindergarten to learn the fundamentals of lacrosse using US Lacrosse Athlete Development Model practice plans. The goals of this program are to introduce and develop basic skills for our youngest players using fun games and coaching techniques.  Sticks available or bring your own.  Soft balls will be used.  No goggles or mouth guards required.  Click here to register for Little Laxers Clinic
