[ARCHIVED] New Spirit Squads forming at the Recreation Dept!

The goals of the Sparklers Spirit Teams are to promote team spirit, develop leadership skills, practice teamwork, improve short-term memory (for learning combinations), develop social and crowd interaction skills, tune up fine motor skills, develop acute precision training, and learn dance basics.  Everyone makes the team; participants who complete all 6 classes will participate in two performance opportunities (no competitions). 

The instructor is  Katie Wiencek (Nazareth High School Poms and Division I Champion Pom (Northern Illinois University)).  Fee includes required Sparkle Kit (competition hair bow, top and skirt, warm-up jacket).  Any questions, email Katie at kathryn.wiencek@gmail.com.

The classes meet Sundays, February 10-March 17, at the Grand Ave Community Center Lower Level.  Times determined by age level (see below).  Fee is  $365.00 (includes top, skirt, warm-up jacket and hair bow).

LIL  SPARKLERS (Code 170272 A)      3-6 Years     12:00-1:30 pm

JR.  SPARKLERS (Code 170272 B)     7-10 Years     1:30-3:00 pm

 SR.  SPARKLERS (Code 170272 C)      11-14 Years     3:15-4:45 pm
