[ARCHIVED] Well 5 Drilling: 10/08/19 Weekly Project Update

The final 2 pieces of drilling support equipment were demobilized at the beginning of the week and test pumping equipment was mobilized to site. Pump rig was set up and motor/bowl assembly were set in the hole. Crew began setting the pump and ended the week at 882 feet. The remaining 315 feet will be set on Monday of next week.

Next week Layne will complete the pump setting, mobilize a rental generator and set up transformer for the 2300V test motor and have that wired for start up. The pumping discharge hosing will be laid out and prepared for testing. Layne anticipates a test pump start up on Wednesday or Thursday k and will continue with development testing for the remainder of the week.

It is likely the 24hr test will be completed during the week of October 14th where one shift will run for a 24 hr basis. All other pumping will be completed in 8hr daylight shifts. Once testing is completed, the pump will be pulled and demobilized.
