Removal of final equipment from the site is expected to be complete by the end of this week. Yesterday he well drilling contractor, Layne intended to remove the site fencing, matting and all equipment. Unfortunately the Village was not previously notified and work was not completed.
An emergency meeting was held this morning with all parties to discuss the site conditions. Snow fencing was put back in place along the west and north edge of the site where the matting remains, and Layne has confirmed the subcontractor will be out Friday morning to remove the remaining matting and construction materials. Swallow Construction is out today completing the transmission main work and prepping the roadway for patching. Street patching is expected to take place Friday and Saturday weather permitting.
