As part of the Village’s ongoing efforts to share information with the community, there will be a Town Hall Meeting on 5G/Small Cell Wireless Technology on Thursday, February 13, from 7 - 9 pm, at Lyons Township High School South Campus Corral (4940 Willow Springs Road).
What is the purpose of the Town Hall meeting?
The meeting will include updates on Village action with regard to 5G, statements from officials and representatives, and questions from the public. Invitees include local officials, state and federal representatives, telecommunications providers, industry experts, local and state public health agencies, regional government representatives, school and park district representatives, and residents from Western Springs and neighboring communities.
Will residents be given the opportunity to submit formal questions?
Yes, the Village will accept questions in advance of the Town Hall through an online form submission section of wsprings.com/5g, until 5pm on Wednesday, February 12. Click the link here to go to the website and submit your question. There will also be time for questions following presentations at the meeting.
