[ARCHIVED] Join the Neighbors by Ring App

Screen Shot 2020-05-25 at 9.31.07 AM

The Western Springs Police Detective Division is excited to be joining the Neighbors by Ring app to reduce crime in our community. The Neighbors by Ring app also allows the user to see ’something share, something’ directly with Western Springs Police*. You do not need Ring devices to participate; anyone with any camera system can upload content to the Neighbors app.

Neighbors is a free app from Ring that provides information about real-time crime and safety events directly to your phone. You can easily share and communicate with your community about crime and safety issues impacting your neighborhood. Neighbors is currently available as an iOS, Android, and FireOS app. Western Springs Police Department can view, post, and respond to crime and safety-related information posted. WSPD can also submit video requests to help with active investigations in your area. By working together, we all can keep Western Springs a safe community.

We are encouraging everyone to spread the word out to the community about the Neighbors app. To download please text "staysafe" to 555888.

Learn more by going to the the "Online Services" page of Village’s Law Enforcement Services website at:

Remember if you see something, share something, and report it to the Western Springs Police at 708-246-8540.

* This App is not monitored 24/7 by WSPD.
