ComED will be performing system upgrades to utlitiy poles and lines located on Maple Street between Woodland Avenue and Grand Avenue, starting around July 22nd. The purpose of this equipment upgrade is to harden the power grid against storm damage.
ComED will be installing new power lines and upgrade the poles approximately 5' in height to achieve better clearance from parkway trees. One pole will also be relocated approximately 25' east of its existing location.
