The below resident notification letter was sent out to residents on Ridgewood Drive between Birch Lane and Maple Lane. The Village will be rehabilitating six storm sewer outfalls located on the east bank of Flagg Creek. The removal of undesirable trees, invasive brush (i.e. buckthorn) or other landscaping within the public utility easement, Illinois Tollway property or bank of Flagg Creek will be required to complete the repair work. Tree and brush removal along the east side of the creek is anticipated to take place in November with construction and repair to the outfalls to occur in December. Work is anticipated to conclude before the end of the year.
