Hydrant flushing in the community was completed on Monday September 30th at which time water plant operators took chlorine residual samples at each of the hydrants within the subdivision. Samples indicated that chlorine levels have improved in the Ridgewood subdivision but are still lower than other parts of town west of Woodland Avenue.
This sampled information is being forwarded to our contact at Baxter & Woodmand and a follow up meeting will be scheduled to review the information.
Public Works crews will also reinspect valves identified at locations where a chlorine residual is dropping off to determine if all are functioning properly.
