Due to the limited availability of salt, the Public Works Department will be restricted to salting intersections only for the upcoming snow event that is forecasted from February 4th through February 5th,
Residents are advised to use caution when traveling on side streets. Residential speed limits within the community are posted as 25 mph for all side streets and residents should travel under this limit if conditions are considered hazardous.
Public Works crews will be out during the snow event to plow all streets within the Village, but icy locations may develop on paved road surfaces if snow and water refreeze during overnight periods.
