[ARCHIVED] School District Conducting Hydrant Pressure Testing on Hydrants Near Schools

The Village has received several reports this afternoon that some residents around the various schools in town are having brief periods of cloudy water.

The Village has been informed that the school district is conducting pressure testing on the fire hydrants around the schools for an upgrade to their fire suppression systems as part of an overall expansion at several of their buildings.

The pressure testing should be completed this afternoon. If any residents are experiencing cloudy water, it is recommended that they run the lowest cold water tap in their home until the water runs clear. This should take approximately 10-20 minutes at most.
