In order to address some chlorine residual issues in portions of the Ridgewood subdivision, water plant operators are in the process of converting an unused chemical feed system to a chlorine feed system. This conversion will allow for operators to make better adjustments to the chlorine dosage used for disinfection in the system.
Conversion of the equipment will take approximately two weeks and the additional feed line should come online in mid-October. Crews will then monitor the chlorine residuals in Ridgewood where some residents have reported some quality issues.
