[ARCHIVED] Severe Weather Preparedness Week

The week of February 28-March 5, 2016 serves as one to prepare for severe storms, as the season will be here sooner rather than later. We all know severe weather can be violent and happen in this area, as we recall the destructiveness of the 2015 severe weather season, especially with the April 9th and June 22nd tornado outbreaks.

Tuesday, March 1, 2016, is DRILL DAY. At 10 am the national weather service will send a test tornado warning, ideal for simulating drills for tornado safety at home, work, school, and elsewhere.
