How can I get a load of mulch?

May 27, 2020 Update: The Village’s 2020 mulch program has ended, there is no more mulch to be distributed.

The Municipal Services Department generally has garden mulch available to residents in the spring.

Residents can request a delivery of approximately 3 yards by emailing with their full name, street address, and phone number. Deliveries will be scheduled as staffing and weather permits.

Residents may also visit the entrance of the Public Works yard (1440 Hillgrove) with their own containers to collect smaller amounts of mulch. Public Works staff are not able to provide assistance with this process. Residents should follow social distancing guidelines at all times - by remaining a safe distance from others, and/or remaining inside their vehicle until the person ahead of them has finished. Please do not block the roadway, and be aware of traffic entering or leaving the yard.

Questions can be directed to Municipal Services at 708-246-1800, ext. 200.
